Hi all! Thanks for visiting this page. Rachel Sussman asked me to set this up as a fundraiser for the new Climate Smart Glacier Country group in Whitefish. The mission of Climate Smart is as follows:
"Our mission is to address the challenges that a changing climate creates for water and food security, public health, and recreation in the Glacier National Park region. We engage the public to find local solutions that will conserve resources and foster a thriving community for ourselves and future generations."
From the 8th-10th of September I will be biking about 70 miles from Everett, WA, to Anacortes, WA to go to a marine science lab for two weeks. I know that this is not a great feat or anything, but Climate Smart is a dope group that is doing a lot of good in the Flathead Valley, and it would mean the world to them if you donated what you can.
It is very clear that there are a host of issues affecting the health of our planet and economy. Right now, it is more important than ever to work toward a sustainable future. A great way that you can help do something meaningful and concrete is to support my fundraising for my Independent Challenge. I'm training and raising awareness through my event in order to support sustainable solutions and active transportation. This is a chance to raise funds for non-profit organizations that I really believe in, organizations making a difference by promoting renewable energy, bicycle transportation and fighting climate change. Your generous donation will help my beneficiaries work to turn the tide, build the green economy, and improve our lives. You can make a secure online donation today by clicking on the 'Support Me' button. You'll automatically receive an acknowledgment and I will be notified by email of your support. Thank you for your help!
