I'm asking for your help with an event I am participating in. I will bike hundreds of miles to raise awareness and money for more than 100 fantastic organizations (including Walk Bike Glendale and the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition) that are leading the nation in climate change awareness, green energy development, sustainability, and bicycle advocacy, and to raise public awareness around these issues.
I will be riding with Team Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC), who is the ride's top fundraising group and will be celebrating their 5th year. Beginning in San Francisco, we'll bike 300 miles over five days, camp out during the nights, and end our trip in San Luis Obispo. I've never had the opportunity to do this event before because it always conflicted with my courses at school, but now that I've graduated, I'm very thrilled to be doing my first long distance bike ride! I've been having a blast training every weekend with Team LACBC to be able to bike steep hills and seventy-mile days. It's been physically challenging, but incredibly rewarding and so much fun! :)
In order for me to participate however, I must raise at least $2800. Your dollars will help support my beneficiary organizations whose work focuses on climate education, clean energy, and bicycle infrastructure.
Would you be willing to make a donation of $25, $50, $100 or more, and help support these very important causes? It's super easy... just click the 'support me' button at the top of this page to make a tax-deductible donation. As further incentives, here’s what your donation will get you:
$75 - Free one-year membership to LACBC
$100 - Commemorative Team Pint Glass
$200 - Name or Text on Back of Team Jersey
$500 - Name on Back of Team Jersey + 1 Public Acknowledgment (e-news or social media)
We also have $1,000 and above perks that include logo placements, reach out to me directly!
Any size donation will help get me closer to my fundraising goal and no donation is too small! Your generous contribution is an investment in a healthier, safer future and will help Walk Bike Glendale and the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coaltion work to make this a reality.
