Climate Ride California 2017 - Drop

Support Me

Support Climate Ride's largest and most spirited bunch of riders ... or better yet, join us!

Celebrating our 5th year on Climate Ride, TEAM LACBC likes to "push it!" We train hard, party like there's no tomorrow, and work our butts off raising funds to support the vital work of the Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC).

Founded in 1998, LACBC works to make L.A.'s neighborhoods more sustainable and healthier though bicycle advocacy, outreach, and education.  LACBC brings Angelenos together in order to promote active transportation and improve the quality of life for everyone.

Among our successes ...

LACBC helped developed the L.A. City Bicycle plan that created over 1600 miles of new bike paths and bike lanes.  We incubated CicLAvia, the massively popular bicycle and pedestrian street fairs that have taken the city by storm.  Our "Operation Firefly" program has improved public safety by distributing thousands of free bike lights to commuter cyclists.  We are also deeply committed to "L.A. Vision Zero Alliance," a community partnership seeking to eliminate all traffic deaths and serious injuries in L.A. by 2025.
