Welcome!
We're so excited you're here to help Missoula nonprofits raise much needed funds to continue their essential work for our planet!
Joining Climate Ride gives you the opportunity to reach out to friends, family, and folks in your community with a message that the health of our planet is important to you. It's a chance to invite people you care about to do good on an issue many of them may not know how to address. And it's a chance to talk about climate change and bolster your spirit with collective action.
Our Missoula environmental nonprofits need your help and community support – so please say YES!
A great way to take action for the future of our planet is by registering and fundraising for organizations working in the environmental sector here in Missoula! We've organized a fun ride and by signing up now, you can join some great people taking action on climate.

When you register, select up to three of these beneficiaries and they will receive your fundraising in the form of a grant from Climate Ride!
This ride is on October 6, 2024. Check-in and route starts:
- Long option - check in at 9 AM and the ride will start at 9:30 AM.
- Medium option - checkin at 10 AM and the ride will start at 10:30 AM.
- Climate Protector Kids option - Check in at 11:30 and the ride will start at noon. There will be fun bike oriented kids activities like a bike obstacle course post ride as well!
We'll send you more details about the route after you register.
This is a ride for all ages, levels, and speeds! We will have three route options:
- A longer route option that includes gravel (10-30 miles) with several opportunities to turn around if you want to shorten the route!
- A medium route option with gravel as well (5-10 miles) with several opportunities to turn around if you want to shorten the route!
- A family-friendly Climate Protector ride* (5 miles or less) with several opportunities to turn around if you want to shorten the route!
*For the second year, we're joining forces with Families for a Livable Climate, and incorporating their family-friendly Climate Protector ride into this event! We invite kids and adults alike to participate by donning superhero capes and bright costumes with banners to proclaim and celebrate our collective role as “climate protectors.” Our purpose is to promote biking as a climate solution, showcase our collective commitment toward building a livable future for all, and have fun doing it!
All participants please plan to arrive ready to ride at your rides check in. We'll have a mandatory safety talk at 9:45 AM and then roll out! After the rides, there will be a fun hang with food, activities, and prizes! We will share the itinerary details after you register. We expect to be wrapped up around 3:00 PM. There will be limited support on this ride, so please be prepared. Bring water and what you need to fix flats. Helmets are required!
Registration for the Missoula Climate Ride is FREE.
When you register, you will have the opportunity to kick things off with a donation and we encourage you to do so! Also, you are provided a personal fundraising page so that you can spread the word and help raise funds. We suggest trying to raise at least $100. Or, go big, and shoot for $500 or $2000 to earn a prize! We encourage you to get to know these Missoula beneficiaries and how your fundraising really has an impact on our community and future. Reaching out to friends and family is also an opportunity to chat about climate! All donations are tax-deductible. Please note that donations are not refundable.
