I'm excited to announce that I'll be riding for the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and the National Park Conservation Association in May 2019! This time, I'll be joining a homegrown team, SF Ursacult, in Bears Ears National Monument.
SFBC (sfbike.org) works on creating safe bike infrastructure throughout the city, knocking on doors, talking at City Hall, providing bike valets at major events and running on-the-bike classes for young and old riders alike to name just a few of their good deeds. They also strive for social bike justice and reach out to communities through Sunday Streets, bike build nights and Light up the Night events.
NPCA (npca.org) works to protect, maintain and preserve our national parks. They do this through education and advocacy in all 50 states; I've been lucky enough to hike, climb, camp and bike through a number of them and have many more to explore and share. Parks hold a place near and dear to my heart, and my hope is that each dollar I raise can go towards making sure they still are in existence for future generations.
If it's in your means, please consider donating for these two great and inspiring organizations.
