Hi Family, Friends, 

I have wanted to start road/gravel cycling for years, so when my friend Lisa Drake with whom I completed a (mountain) Climate Ride in 2018 reached out asking if I'd join her for the NorCal version this May, I replied with a "hell yes!" 

I've since purchased a bike and started training for this multi-day, 320 mile ride from Fortuna, CA to San Francisco, taking place between May 5th-9th (though I'll join a day late to be here for Xander's prom on May 4th).  Yes, it's a physical feat, but it's also an opportunity to raise money for carefully vetted organizations supporting our planet's healthy future.

I have a $4k fundraising target.  All funds will be distributed by Climate Ride to organizations supporting vetted and trustworthy non-profits working to build the green economy, advocate for vulnerable communities, and secure our energy future.
